Obama Promises Infrastructure Jobs

Presumed Democratic presidential nominee Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., reiterated his support for investing in transportation and other infrastructure Wednesday, declaring himself the "Build America President" before members of a laborers' union.
He says "I will be the Build America President and put Americans back to work with a National Infrastructure Reinvestment Bank that will invest $60 billion over ten years and generate millions of new jobs that cannot be outsourced," Obama said in a live satellite address to the Laborers' International Union of North America.
The union, which represents 10 million workers in the construction industry, has endorsed Obama for president and is sponsoring the Democratic National Convention.
