Nokia launches Shopno Dekhun , In Bangladesh


Nokia, one of the world's leading mobile handset makers, yesterday launched a campaign styled 'Shopno Dekhun' (keep dreaming) for the Bangladesh market to help the user's dreams come true. Under the campaign the company, also the leading mobile handset provider of the country will financially assist 10 outstanding dreamers, who are inspired and motivated by innovative ideas in their own lives.The objective of Nokia's 'Keep Dreaming' initiative is to help people connect to their dreams and passion, said Prem Chand, managing director of Nokia Emerging Asia, at a press conference yesterday in Dhaka."We hope to encourage people to feel passionate about their dreams, inspire innovative ideas and we would be glad to play a role in helping those who have the vision to see their dreams come true," Chand said.The Nokia's competition is open to all Nokia mobile set users with a valid International Mobile Equipment Identity (IMEI) number. Eligible Nokia users can take part in the competition open till 15 September 2008. Nokia officials said interested participants will have to collect prescribed forms from 6,500 Nokia outlets around the country.Nokia handsets in Bangladesh hold majority market shares. The company said three out of four mobile users own Nokia handsets in Bangladesh market.
